Selangor & Kuala Lumpur National Recovery Plan Phase 3 SOP - Oct 2021
Here is the latest SOP for Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan (PPN) for Malaysia!
This Phase 3 SOP currently applies to Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley, Putrajaya, Perlis, Terengganu, Melaka, Pahang, and Sarawak
Travelling between districts of the same state are allowed
Fully Vaccinated Individuals
Travelling between Klang Valley and to tourism bubble areas are allowed
Vehicles may carry passengers at full capacity
Crossing states allowed for married couples and parents to children below 18 years old, with permission from PDRM
Citizens and non-citizens who have a residence in Malaysia and arrived from abroad, may have their compulsory quarantine at home
Working
Public sector limited to 80% employee attendance at offices subject to the Chief Secretary to the Government’s directive
Private sector limited to 80% employee attendance capacity, for business sectors allowed to operate
Agricultural and commodities sector may operate at full capacity
Schooling
All educational institutions are reopened; institutions under the Ministry of Education will open by stages, subject to risk assessments and the Ministry of Education
Face-to-face learning activities are allowed; face-to-face learning activities by higher education institutions are subject to 70% student capacity limits and SOP
Religion
Houses of Worship are subject to capacity limits by State Religious Authorities / Ministry of National Unity
Fully Vaccinated Individuals
Muslims can perform religious activities in mosques and suraus subject to the ruling of the State Religious Authority
Non -Muslims can perform religious activities in the respective houses of worship subject to the ruling of the Ministry of National Unity
Eating Out
Dine-in allowed with physical distancing of at least 1 meter
Markets
All markets are open with SOP
Shopping
Only 3 family members in a car are allowed to buy necessities
Fully Vaccinated Individuals
Number of people in a car is determined by the car's capacity
Socialising
All social activities and visitations are not allowed
Sports
Non-contact sports are allowed in any open / closed area with physical distancing
Fully Vaccinated Individuals
Allowed to perform contact / non-contact sports with physical distancing in any open / closed area; 6am - 12am
Entertainment
Live performances/events are not allowed
Only streaming of recordings and live streaming are allowed
Fully Vaccinated Individuals
Allowed to go to live performances/events, cinemas, art exhibitions, museums, indoor buskings and hotel lounges
Marriage
Marriage registrations are allowed without any ceremonies
Funeral
Funeral ceremonies and cemetery visiting are allowed subject to the Religious Authorities and Ministry of National Unity
